Today was another mainly learning day, although Garrett will probably lie and say I slept again. For the most part, I don't have to see him most of the day, so thankfully I'm not spending like 24 hours a day with him *shudders*...but I spent most of the afternoon watching Pasha, one of the peeps I'm working work (PIWW), use lasers to [do magical science]. However, the morning was spent attending this chemical safety training session where they basically showed us a movie that used scare tactics/blew up a dummy with a bunch of common chemicals "when misused".

Today's postwork adventure was eating dinner at a place called "City Barbecue". It was aight, but I still think the BBQ I had in Kansas City was better, meaning Garrett still has respect for my taste in food. He agreed it wasn't as good as BBQ in Texas, which means Garrett isn't a fool.

I think I'm beginning to figure out why Garrett occasionally sucks at navigation. Whenever he's the least bit distracted, we are at significant risk for missing a turn/making the wrong turn. Apparently, my job as the passenger is to assess when he is distracted, and act accordingly and preemptively. After 7 more weeks of this, I should be able to easily identify when people are distracted, and hopefully this new skill will enhance my coaching ability, and our powderpuff team will reap the benefits this coming year....at least, that's what I think will happen...

We spent the rest of the evening playing our respective Pokemon games and watching Zombieland. I beat Misty and am now in Vermillion City, and my team has been doin' sooo much work. Soon I need to pick between keeping my Geodude or going with a Diglett though. I also don't know which electric-type Pokemon to roll with for the rest of the game either.

Like I said yesterday, the length of tomorrow's post might be affected by the outcome of Game 5. Just warning y'all.
