I think we were planning on getting up early this morning to go get our permanent ID
cards. That definitely didn’t happen. And it’s looking like it may never happen, because
I don’t think either of us is ever going to get out of bed that early. I don’t really have a
problem with using the temporary passes for the summer; it’s only like five more weeks
or something.

Living in Eastern Time is the worst. I don’t know why anyone would ever want to live in
the Eastern Time Zone. Everything starts later than it’s supposed to, and you have to go
to sleep earlier than everyone else. I’m really getting sick of it.

I guess we didn’t really do anything today. I’ll try to make sure that interesting things
happen tomorrow so this isn’t a problem in for the next post, too. I just asked Duke what
he’s writing about in his post, and he said he’s just pouring out his soul. Unfortunately,
I don’t have a soul, and even if I did I wouldn’t pour it out, so I can’t do that. I have no
idea what the rest of this post will be about. Most likely I’ll just think of something Duke
did today that I can complain about.

I know: he put his laundry in the dryer while we were trying to watch How I Met Your
Mother. The dryer is really loud, and it made it really hard to hear what was going on in
the show. That was extremely inconsiderate of him.

I’m still pretty convinced that Duke doesn’t actually do anything at work. He gets done
way before me in the afternoon and aimlessly wanders into my lab a few times a day.

Duke is complaining that I haven’t finished this yet, and I’m really tired, so I think this
will just have to be a really short post. I’ll make up for it tomorrow.
