Duke spent most of his workday sleeping today. The kid doesn’t actually do anything at
work. I am actually working on experiments in a lab, and he’s taking naps and making
structures with chemical model building kits. He claims he’s waiting for his lab to
receive some materials, but I don’t believe that. They must not trust him to do anything
important. I can’t really blame them.

At work, there’s a really big doormat with the Air Force logo on it. And I want one,
because it would look awesome in our dorm room. So, since I’m a college student, I
found myself pondering how I could steal it. Then I realized that I can’t do that, because
I’m not on a college campus, and because somebody would probably tackle me before I
had even picked the doormat up. I’m quite disappointed about that.

Duke insisted that we go to some barbecue restaurant tonight so he could “see how it
compares to KC barbecue.” I told him it was a bad idea, but he refused to listen. As
always, I was right.

We were both tired tonight, so we just sat on the couch and watched Zombieland for a
while. Duke spent a long time on his post, and I don’t have anything too interesting to say
tonight, so this will be a short one. I’m not sure if it will be up tonight, because he may
already be asleep. We’ll see.
