Today at the base wasn't particularly filled with [magical science] because apparently I need some samples from Dr. Ajayan at Rice before I can do too much. For now, I blame Rachel Tenney, who's working in his lab this summer, for the delay. Instead, I did a lot of reading, observing, and learning of [magical science]. Also, we got desk space today after being told they ran out yesterday, which is nice.

After work today, we went exploring around town to find what stores and restaurants there were around town. We bought balls (mine was of the basket variety, his was of the foot/fut variety) from Dick's Sporting Goods. We came back and ate dinner. Today was pretty average. However, I learned that if you're riding passenger while Garrett's driving, Garrett will always stay on course when you're looking. Look away from the road for like 2 seconds though, and Garrett will have missed a turn or taken the wrong path, and then proceed to blame you for not alerting him to his mistake. Terribly annoying. Also, it hindered my ability to play Pokemon in the car pretty badly.

OKC just lost which killed my mood and is hindering my ability to think of stuff to write at the moment... so maybe y'all shouldn't expect a post from me one night if they lose this series. Ughhhh
