Today after work, we went to the rec, which reopened up since being closed the last week. Apparently they put in some new air conditioning system, but I couldn't really tell at all. I ended up going back on my word and played pickup basketball again today, but playing wasn't as annoying as it had been before, so I'll probably end up playing again.

When we got home, there was no more HIMYM to watch, so we resorted to Pokemon yet again. The cord that I ordered 2 days ago arrived today (and I paid for regular shipping...), so we finally had our fated POKEMON BATTLE (cue music).

In our first match, Garrett found out quickly that his speed was sorely outmatched by my superior team, as his Haunter and Vileplume learned the hard way from my Kadabra. While only using 4 Pokemon, I finished him with my equally fast Starmie destroying his Machoke and Blastoise (he was a little surprised to see my Starmie knew Thunder...mwahaha). In round two, Garrett somehow found a way to put my Lapras to sleep, and he (she?) couldn't recover, but s/he was quickly avenged by my other speedy Pokemon. For the last match, Garrett started to figure out how to better combat my team, until my Jolteon made an appearance and  ripped through half of his team.

So now that Garrett couldn't hide anymore, he was sorely defeated 6-3, 6-3, 6-4. We'll have another beatdow-er, I mean rematch when we're at level 50. Also, the reason I went into so much detail about that was because pretty much nothing else worth discussing happened tonight. The only thing we watched was the Home Run Derby and Celebrity All Star Baseball game....blah (Garrett demanded this because they're happening in Kansas City).

Oh, I also re-discovered the Rick Ross Soundboard today... *Rick Ross Grunt* (UGHN)
