G36

Today was quite a bit more exciting than yesterday. This afternoon, we went back to the
Air Force Museum. We spent about two more hours there, and we’re still only about
two thirds of the way through the museum. We didn’t have enough time to give the
flight simulator another try, but we’ll definitely set the high score next time we’re at the
museum.

At about four, we left the museum and started the one hour drive to Columbus for
the Jazz and Ribs Fest. We decided that we would be able to maximize the amount of
barbecue we ate by getting one meal, walking around the city for a while, and coming
back for more barbecue right before the festival closed.

So, we spent about an hour and a half roaming around downtown Columbus. Like
Cincinnati, Columbus surprised us. I think it was the nicest city we’ve visited in Ohio.
We’ve decided that part of the reason we dislike Dayton so much is that it’s surround by
cities that are far more interesting than Dayton is.

We went to the festival to eat more barbecue before we left.* I tried a sandwich from the
place that won the festival’s grand prize, and it was very good.

*As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a fatass.

Now we’re back at the apartment, watching How I Met Your Mother and discussing
barbecue with our roommate from South Carolina.
