G40
Today, Duke and I took and hour and forty-five minute lunch break. Duke’s coworkers
took us out to a local bar and grill for a send-off lunch. It’s kind of ridiculous how little
people work here. Anyways, tomorrow we’re going to a picnic in the afternoon. We’re
pretty sure nobody is going to go back to work after that. I didn’t really get too much
done today, but that’s ok because the guy I’ve been working with is out of town this
week. Until he gets back, all I have to do is start experiments and wait a few hours for
them to finish.
Tomorrow is one week from our last day in Dayton (next Saturday doesn’t count because
we’re leaving in the morning), so we’re finally getting close to the end of our time here.
I can’t wait. I just want to get a phone that works, eat barbecue from a gas station, and
watch the Royals.
I just learned that my car, which is in Houston, might have died. I think a little part of
me might die if that car can’t be fixed. Hopefully it’s fine, because I don’t really want to
have to deal with car problems while the car is in a different state.
