Today was apparently our last real work day of the week. Duke says that we’re going out
for lunch tomorrow because his boss will be out of town next week and wants to have a
send off meal before we leave. Friday, we’ve been invited to a picnic lunch in a park. I
don’t really understand how that works, but I guess everybody just stops working around
noon and goes to hang out in the state park all afternoon. After four and a half days of
hard work, they need a break, I guess. That’s reasonable. So the next two days shouldn’t
be too busy.

It was a rainy day in Dayton. Well, it rained a bit in the morning and for the rest of the
day, there was a lot of lightning but no rain. The weather here doesn’t really make any
sense to me.

Anyways, today was our day off from the gym, so we had extra time to watch How I Met
Your Mother and the MLS All Star Game. I think Duke likes watching soccer just so he
can listen to me yell at the announcers. I still haven’t caught up on sleep after the fire
incident earlier this week, so I think I’m going to bed now.
