Duke says I’m not allowed to write about the most entertaining thing that happened at
work today, so this post will be lacking. Luckily he didn’t work in my lab today, so I
didn’t have to deal with him falling asleep all over the place.

Duke has spent the entire evening organizing this year’s powderpuff schedule (with my
assistance). Apparently I’ve been appointed the random number generator that decides
the matchups. Duke isn’t completely happy with my random number generation, though.
Apparently, when you’re told to pick a number between one and six, it’s supposed to be
an integer. I don’t know how I was supposed to know that. So it’ll probably be my fault if
the schedule is messed up or something. Even if it isn’t my fault, I assume Duke will try
to blame it on me anyways.

I was surprised to se that our blog made it into James’s member at large presentation,
but I’m glad to hear that our summer has been deemed epic. Or at least our blog has
been deemed epic. I assume Duke is the one who submitted that, because it definitely
wasn’t me. By the way, am I the only one who’s curious about why James was wearing
headphones throughout the entire presentation? What was he listening to? Because if he
was listening to music while presenting, I’d be really impressed.

We’re going to go see the new Batman movie tomorrow night, so I think I’ll be spending
the next 24 hours avoiding the internet. Hopefully nobody will ruin it for me.
