Today at work I learned that Duke’s coworkers are even more worthless than he is.* It
was good to find that out, because I was having kind of a frustrating day at work. None
of the machinery was working properly, so several hours were wasted today. Duke didn’t
fall asleep in my lab today. I assume he found somewhere more comfortable.** He did
still complain when I asked him to move out of my way because I needed to use a piece
of equipment that he was doing nothing in front of.

*I know, it’s hard to believe that’s even possible.

**Or somewhere he thought he was less likely to be made fun of for sleeping at work.

Duke got the info packet for him freshmen this evening, so he’s been stalking them for a
while now. So far, all I’ve learned about them is that they have terrible taste in music. I
just hope they don’t get to pick the music Sid plays on Fridays.

Now I’m eating ice cream straight out of the container and watching How I Met Your
Mother for the second time. It’s not as pathetic as it sounds, I swear.
