G27
We had a pretty normal day today, except for the guy who’s marching back and forth
down the street. He’s just out there by himself, going about ten yards, then turning around
and coming back the other way. Marching. Not walking. He’s actually prancing around
like he’s leading a parade. And in case you were wondering, yes, he does have a baton.
As usual, Friday was another opportunity for Duke to try to find a decent pizza place in
Dayton. As usual, he wasn’t particularly successful. We’re having to look farther and
farther away for places we haven’t tried. The place Duke picked for tonight was literally
out in the country. Also, he said this: “It says it’s 19 minutes away, but I don’t trust
Dayton rush hour.”
At work today, I was trained to use another complicated piece of equipment. I have no
idea why they’re still training me to do things; we only have three weeks left here. I think
they’re just thinking of things they can make me do. The problem is, three other people I
work for are going to be back at work next week, so I’m going to have like five different
people telling me what to do Monday morning. I’m not really looking forward to that.
Luckily, we have plenty of excitement planned for the weekend.
